Fidonisi Island Kavala

01

Fidonisi

Fidonisi Island stands out for its natural beauty, with its crystal clear waters and lush vegetation that reaches the coast. As you explore its picturesque corners by boat, you will discover small and secluded coves to swim or relax in the sun. Keeping a safe distance we anchor and enjoy the dives and can relax on the sandy little beaches.

02

Psatha Beach

It stands out for its crystal clear shallow waters and golden sand, an idyllic environment for swimming and sunbathing. Ideal for families, couples and friends who want to spend quiet and quality moments by the sea. While the shade from the surrounding trees offers natural protection from the sun during the afternoon hours. We tie the boat outside the demarcation balloons, make sure to keep a safe distance from other boats and enjoy swimming and the sea.

Red Rocks
Vovitsa beach

Crossing beneath the imposing Red Rocks, the "Cave of the Nymphs" where the image of the Virgin Mary is formed on the rocks, we meet the beach of Vovitsa. Accessible only from the sea, this secluded beach, adorned with small coves, is ideal for moments of isolation from the crowds. We can get close enough to the shore, respecting the others (bathers and boats) to moor and enjoy the tranquillity of nature.

04

Peninsula of Vrasidas

Between Sand dunes and N. Peramos, behind the hill of the Byzantine Anaktoroupolis, stretches the peninsula of Vrasidas. The various small beaches and bays, combined with the green mountains and the rocky formations that surround the area, invite you to swim and explore. At the end of the peninsula, the homonymous beach has crystal clear shallow waters and fine sand. Approach the beach with caution on its delimitation (buoys).

i The peninsula is named after the famous Spartan general, who is presumed to have been killed in this place, fighting the Athenians during the Peloponnesian War (431-404 BC). The peninsula was an important point of control because of its strategic position in the northern Aegean.

Castle Beach

Along the foothills of the Castle we can find clear, shallow waters ideal for swimming and water activities such as SUP and mask exploration. Be careful when approaching because there are no buoys (BOAT MUST NOT GO TO THE BEACH) and there is a risk of being checked by the coast guard if the allowed distance is not respected.

06

Ancient Quarry

Where the waves crash and along the beach, visitors can see the traces of carved rocks and unfinished millstones. This beach was a quarry of Myloliths or Mylolpetrae used in the mills for grinding grain. Visiting the site offers a unique experience, taking visitors back in time and revealing the secrets of ancient production and craftsmanship. We cast anchor away from the shore and explore the beach by swimming.
